Account Developer

Job Purpose:

To optimise sales and growth opportunities through long term professional and proactive relationship management with an existing customer portfolio.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Works with an agreed portfolio of customers, providing the highest level of customer service at all times.

  • Agrees, price, delivery window and production lead times with customers and production teams to secure sales.

  • Books work into production and chases progress, keeping customers informed of the status of their job at all times

  • Provides customers with insight into the function and capabilities of ProCo through ongoing and regular dialogue, displaying innovative thinking when addressing customer needs in order to provide appropriate solutions.

  • Supports the Account Directors and Field Sales team to develop the best possible relationship with customers ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.


  • Experience in a customer service or sales role; within a print environment (print knowledge essential).

  • Experience of DM sales and production processes preferable.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft, Word & Excel as a minimum.

  • Knowledge of Tharstern MIS system preferable but not essential

  • High level of attention to detail; experience of proof reading in a print environment would be advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Full driving license.
