ProCo Invests in High Speed Inkjet
ProCo continue to evolve their production capabilities and have complemented their impressive Digital and Litho fleet of production presses with a brand new High Speed Inkjet Web Press – the HP T240, along with two Bowesystec finishing lines and associated DFE and workflow architecture.
In a move designed to open up ProCo’s impressive dynamic document solutions to higher volume applications, the HP PageWide Web Press T240 delivers high quality, colour output. With a monthly duty cycle of up to 60 million pages, the T240 HD is designed for commercial, production mail and book printing.
With the investment in the new kit ProCo’s Stansted production facility has also been reengineered to become a specialist hub for high volume production incorporating the new inkjet press and enclosing kit alongside two 7 Series Indigo Digital Presses. ProCo have invested in additional units at the site, tripling their square footage to enable them to design and structure the facility for maximum capacity and throughput ensuring they can efficiency print, pack and distribute millions of one off, personalised full colour outputs per day.
Jon Bailey, CEO comments:
"As our product mix continues to evolve and our clients look to find new ways to reach their customers with relevant communications, we recognised the time was right to invest in new kit and infrastructure enabling us to continue to offer all-encompassing print marketing solutions and exploit the high volume DM, publishing and commercial print markets where speed, high quality colour and variable content are key.
We are delighted to be winning new business in this space and are already averaging half a million pieces of personalised DM per day, volumes that we expect to continue to increase in the coming months"
