Print Futures Awards Winners
We’re delighted that once again some of our young talent in the business have received Print Futures Awards from The Printing Charity.
On the 24th July 2019, Kirsty Osborne, Katie Fox and George May received their Print Futures Awards at the House of Lords, proudly watched by Jon, Giles and Helen who went with them to represent ProCo at this prestigious event.
The Print Futures Awards help young people aged 18 to 30 to gain qualifications and improve their workplace skills, as well as helping the industry to attract and retain talent.
The first stage was a 300-word rationale for why each candidate should be given the money to pay for their chosen course. They also had to give 50 words about themselves outside of work.
Applications from George, Kirsty, Katie and Rob got them through to the shortlist, and the next round was a panel interview with the award judges.
We’re super proud that all 4 candidates were successful in receiving the awards (although Rob wasn’t able to go to the house of lords due to his holiday) and we’re looking forward to supporting them with their training and development.
